WELCOME
Welcome to Wollescote Hall Bows Club Website and more importantly to the Club itself. The Club plays flat green lawn Bowls in the attractive walled garden at Stevens Park in Stourbridge. It was formed in January 2022 when the two clubs that had played there for many years, Black Country Bowls Club and Crystal Bowls Club, decided to combine and form a new club, Wollescote Hall Bowls Club.
The green is available for play every afternoon except Sundays. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are reserved for roll-ups and on some Thursdays and Saturdays friendly home matches take place. The Club regularly plays friendly matches against local clubs, has a team in the Redditch Triples League and in the Kidderminster Triples League .
The Club welcomes players of all ages and backgrounds and new players to the game are especially welcome. The Club has several qualified coaches and coaching is free for those just starting to play the game. Equipment, bowls etc are also available for use free of charge.

CLUB LOCATION
The Club is located in: Stevens Park, Wollescote, Stourbridge, DY9 7JG. The green is in the walled garden adjacent to the car park. The wall surrounding the garden forms one of the boundaries of the car park and the door to the garden, painted green, is in the corner near to the hall. Go through the door, turn left and the green is at the end of the path as shown. After working hours this door is locked and to obtain access to the green it is necessary to walk round the house.
